Facilities at Suikerbos Primary

At Suikerbos Primary, we take pride in providing a modern, learner-focused environment where innovation and discovery go hand in hand. All our classrooms are equipped with data projectors and internet access, ensuring every child is prepared to engage with technology as a tool for exploration and learning—without losing their way in the digital world.

Our commitment to literacy is just as strong. Visits to our well-resourced Library, encourage a love for reading from a young age.

Technology and enrichment go beyond the classroom. We offer one computer centre that support advanced programmes in reading (Reading Rocket) and digital literacy, spanning from the Foundation Phase to Grade 7.

Our extensive sports and recreation facilities include:

  • One rugby field with a covered pavilion, also used for athletics
  • One hockey field
  • Three netball courts and two tennis courts
  • Floodlights on rugby fields for evening events and matches
  • Cricket facilities, including one practice net as well as a grass pitch.

We also operate two school buses, used to transport learners and staff to sporting fixtures, academic events, and excursions. Additional transport services are used for larger group outings.

Our on-site Tuck Shop serves a variety of refreshments and meals during breaks and at school events and functions – ensuring our learners are energised and cared for throughout the day.
