Athletics

At Suikerbos, we actively encourage maximum participation in athletics, especially among our Foundation Phase learners. Our athletes regularly compete in friendly events, which serve as valuable preparation for Cluster, District, provincial, and national competitions. In recent years, several of our athletes have achieved the prestigious title of South African champion—an accomplishment that fills our school with pride. These successes are the result of committed coaching, enthusiastic learner involvement, and unwavering parental support.

Mini rugby at our school is part of an initiative designed to develop and nurture young athletes. All our mini rugby players wear Suikerbos team jerseys and are proud members of the renowned Suikerbos rugby family.
